Meet the person behind the Sanctuary
Hello, I’m Bertena.
I’m a spiritual coach, Reiki Master Teacher, inclusive yoga teacher, author, and lifelong educator. I’m the Founder of The Spiritual Sanctuary and the Ancient Arts of the Priestess Academy.
For more than 30 years, I worked in higher education, helping others find their footing through learning and life transitions. Today, I bring that same patient, supportive approach to spiritual education, intuitive development, and movement practices that welcome different bodies and experiences.
My work is rooted in a simple belief: your path is your own, and meaningful guidance should help you trust yourself more deeply.
